• Assistant Director of Facilities (FT)

  Assists in overseeing all aspects of the Facilities Maintenance Department.  Responsible to supervise all building maintenance and repair of plumbing, electrical fixtures, kitchen appliances as well as HVAC repairs.  Responsible for the ordering and inventory of parts.  Ensures compliance with all federal, state, local laws and OSHA compliance.  This is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an employee in this position may be asked to do. 

   

  Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

  Experience:  Five (5) years prior experience in building, maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC maintenance.  Three (3) years supervisory experience required.

  Schedule Requirements: Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business, including nights, weekends and holidays as needed

• Buffet Cashier (PT)

  Serves guest in a friendly and efficient manner.  Makes accurate cash and financial transactions.  Relays orders to main kitchen and acts as a runner to replenish as needed.  Applicant must be able to stand for sustained periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds.

   

  Education Requirements:  HS Diploma or equivalent preferred. 

  Experience: Previous experience in restaurant and/or fast food environment preferred.

• Buffet Server (PT)

  Serves guests in a friendly and efficient manner. Excellent guest service skills and consistent awareness of restaurant operation required. Restocks all items and products as necessary. Applicant must be able to stand for sustained periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds.

   

  Education Requirements: HS Diploma or equivalent required. TIP certification preferred.

  Experience: Previous wait staff experience preferred.

• Concession Worker (PT)

  Responsible for providing a quality product to patrons and for handling cash. Applicant must have excellent customer service skills and be able to stand for long periods of time.

   

  Education Requirements: HS Diploma or equivalent required.

  Experience: Previous related experience preferred.  

  Schedule Requirements: Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.

   

• Cook (PT & FT)

  Responsible for the preparation and serving of food in a courteous, friendly and efficient manner. Applicant must be able to stand for long periods of time.

   

  Education Requirements: HS Diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of culinary school preferred.

  Experience: One (1) to three (3) years related experience.  

  Schedule Requirements: Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.

   

• Dishwasher (PT & FT)

  Responsible for routine cleaning of dishes, glasses, flatware and other kitchen items. Assists with other kitchen/utility personnel as needed. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift 30-50 lbs.

   

  Education Requirements: HS Diploma or equivalent required.
  Experience: Previous experience with dishwashing equipment, cleaning and sanitation preferred.

• Drop/Soft Count Team Member (FT)

  Responsible for counting and recording of currency and overall operations of soft count room.  Responsible for collection of bill validator cassettes from video gaming machines and replacement for the next day.  Transports bill validator cassettes to and from soft count room. 

   

  Education Requirements: HS Diploma or equivalent required.
  Experience: Prior related experience preferred.
  Schedule Requirements: Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.

  Applicant must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs occasionally.  Able to stand/bend/lift/push for up to 6-8 hours. 

   

   

• Food and Beverage Supervisor (FT - nights)

  Adheres to established Food & Beverage policies, labor regulations and liquor laws.  Responsible for direct supervision and training of staff.  Ensures accurate record keeping, prepares, reviews and analyzes reports.  Keeps departmental costs on an acceptable level.  Promotes the highest level of customer service.  Maintains confidentiality.

   

  Education Requirements: College degree or equivalent preferred.  ABC Certified/TIPS Certified/Serve Safe Manager Certification

  Experience:  Three (3) years restaurant experience in a supervisory capacity required.  Excellent  written and verbal communication skills.  Experience with P.O.S. Systems; PC related systems preferred.

• Night Club Host (PT)

  Create and ensure fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.  Responsible for the promoting of lounges, bottle sales, and table reservations and process through Delphi.  Responsible for executing and assisting with all promotions including but not limited to set up and live announcements.  Accurate handling and booking of reservations utilizing the company reservation system.

  Responsible for smooth and efficient operation of guest arrival.  Ability to control and execute a seating chart and club floor.  Must have ability to multi-task and problem solve.

   

  Education Requirements: HS Diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred.

  Experience: Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.  Past experience as a cocktail server or bartender required. 

  Schedule Requirements: Must be able to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends as needed.

• Pantry Worker (PT & FT)

  Prepares food as directed by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef to the specifications of recipes/standards.

   

  A candidate for this position should be able to; perform related duties in any station or outlet assigned, effectively function in fry station, carving station, vegetable station, sauté’ station and broiler, effectively handle all aspects of preparation including soups, sauces and hot line items, can stock, replace, maintain, and prepare food for the buffet in a fast and efficient manner and is fully versed in upscale cooking.

   

  A successful Pantry Worker assures that the working area is clean and sanitary in accordance with Local, State and Federal Health department codes, works effectively and knowledgeably with other food and beverage personnel, maintains a professional work ethic at all times while working with other team members, departments and guests and promotes outstanding customer relations. Applicant must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds on occasion and be able to stand and walk for 6-8 hours.

   

  Education Requirements: HS Diploma or equivalent required. AMC certified. Culinary School Degree preferred.

  Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years related experience. 

  Schedule Requirements: Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.

• Porter (Warehouse Clerk) (PT)

  Follows Local, State and Federal Health Department Codes.  Delivers requested materials to food and beverage outlets on property.  Applicant must be able to stand/walk/kneel for 6-8 hours.  Must be able to lift and carry 80 lbs repeatedly.   Must have valid drivers license.

   

  Education Requirements: HS Diploma or equivalent required.

  Experience: Previous stockroom experience preferred.  Able to use a handtruck. 

  Schedule Requirements: Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

   

• Program Seller (PT)

  Responsible for the sale of programs (Thoroughbred & Harness) and for the balance of funds from program sales. Serve as information personnel for our racing and racino customers.

   

  Education Requirements: HS Diploma or equivalent required.

  Experience: Previous related experience preferred.  

  Schedule Requirements: Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.

   

• Security Guard (PT/on call)

   

  Responsible for enforcing security procedures at all assigned posts.  Patrol grounds in security vehicle as assigned.  Responsible for maintaining a professional demeanor.  Promotes outstanding interdepartmental and customer relations.

   

  Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required.

  Experience: Previous security experience preferred.  Valid driver’s license required.  New York State Security Guard License required.

  Schedule Requirements: Able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business.  Able to work weekends and holidays as required

• Revenue Auditor (FT)

  Prepares the daily operating report based on revenue reports from within the revenue area and other accounting areas.  Prepares journal entries to record revenue and related expenses.  Performs meter readings and assists with soft count record keeping and reporting.  Ensures compliance with New York Lottery regulatory codes and practices.  Performs all other duties as assigned. 

   

  Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree preferred.

  Experience: Previous revenue accounting experience preferred.  Strong computer skills required.  Must have strong knowledge of Excel 2003 and Microsoft Office.

  Schedule Requirements:  Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required.

• Staff Accountant/Revenue Auditor (FT)

  Provides basic accounting functions as needed for department.  Prepares the daily operating report based on revenue reports from within the revenue area and other accounting areas.  Preparation and entry of general ledger transactions.  Prepares journal entries to record revenue and related expenses.  Responsible for month end reconciliations of various general ledger accounts.  Enforce all departmental and organizational policies and procedures. 

   

  Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required.  Bachelor Degree in Accounting preferred.

  Experience:  Previous revenue accounting experience preferred. Strong computer skills required.  Must have strong knowledge of Excel 2003 and Microsoft Office.
