Discover the excitement of live harness racing

Saratoga Springs has a long tradition rich in horse racing history. That tradition was enhanced in 1941, when the first live harness race was held on our beautiful half-mile track. Today, people can view live races outside at the rail, in the lower clubhouse, in the Grandstand, or Fortunes Restaurant. In addition to live harness racing, patrons can watch and wager on tracks from around the country on one of the many TV’s located in the Mezzanine.

The 68th harness racing season runs through mid-December. This season includes 170 live race programs, exciting giveaways and contests and a total of $14 million in purse money. View our full live harness racing schedule here.

For the best seat in the house, check out Fortunes Restaurant  located trackside for a dining experience unmatched by any other restaurant in the Capital District!

This season, race fans should watch for 2008 Horseman of the Year, Frank Coppola Jr., to strive to defend his record setting driver’s title (321 wins in 2008) against this year’s competitive group of drivers including Brian Cross, Brian Allen and past champion, Dan Capello Jr.

Patrons also enjoy simulcast excitement! Watch and wager on races from tracks across the country seven days a week, year round. View Live and Simulcast Schedules HERE!
